Melbourne Macaron Competition - October 2010
The Melbourne Macaron Competition, held on the 26th October 2010 gave chefs the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity through 3 major categories: classic, chocolate and signature macaron.
Creative Ingredients were proud sponsors of the competition and were pleased to donate prizes for the winners.
The title for the ‘Melbourne’s Best Chocolate Macaron went to Shocolate. They received a $1000.00 Cacao Barry gift voucher from ‘Creative Ingredients’.
The winner of the ‘Signature Macaron Category’ was Choukette. They received a $750.00 Boiron voucher, also from ‘Creative Ingredients’.
The title of ‘Melbourne’s Best Macaron 2010’ went to Cacao Fine Chocolates and Patisserie’.
Boiron & Cacao Barry Demonstration - July 2010
On Monday The 19th & Tuesday the 20th of July, Creative Ingredients was pleased to host special guest MOF pastry chef Bruno Le Derf.Over the two days he demonstrated Cacao Barry and Boiron products to 2 full houses.
Brisbane Fine Food Show – March 2010
This year Creative Ingredients exhibited for the first time at the Brisbane Fine Food show. The 3 day event held in the heart of Brisbane gave us a chance to connect with our Queensland customers as well as gain new clients. John Crowl our in-house gelato maestro made and decorated the fresh gelato each day in front of passing crowds who were all eager to watch. We even had the pleasure of Gino from Vulcano Gelato (Rye , Victoria ) come in and demonstrate their signature Vulcano serving technique.
Paris Europain & Bravo Visit - March 2010
Paris , what a wonderful city. Made even better due to it being time for Europain 2010. This year Bart Zagami (Director of Creative Ingredients) visited the expo on behalf of the company and was invited to Bravo’s head office to view a demonstration that showed the versatility of the Trittico Executive. The remainder of the trip was spent visiting new wave patisseries and meeting famous pastry chefs; such as Gerad Mulot and Stephane Galcier.
Italy Sigep - January 2010
2010s Sigep signaled the launch of Mec3’s new flavours; Mandarinetta, Extra dark sorbet and Ti Prendo. It also gave us a chance to visit our new partner, Frigomecanica who manufacture quality shop fit outs and display cabinets for gelato, pastries and other deserts.
